April Matthews is one half of the force behind Dark Water Tours, blending Mississippi’s haunted history with a theatrical spark that keeps guests leaning in for more. A lifelong lover of folklore, abandoned places, and the soft shiver of a good ghost tale. April built Dark Water Tours to share the eerie beauty hidden beneath the Gulf Coast’s calm surface. Whether she’s guiding guests past centuries-old landmarks or diving into the tragic, tender legends that shaped them, April brings history to life — and sometimes, something on the other side answers back.

Jeremy is the steady flashlight beam in the darkness — a level-headed paranormal investigator with a knack for catching the unexplainable. He combines practical gear knowledge, sharp observation, and a calm presence when things go bump in the night. On tour, Jeremy brings a grounded approach to the supernatural: part historian, part ghost hunter, and part “wait, did you hear that?” He’s the guy you want beside you when the shadows start to move.

Meet Raven, our mini historian and resident ghost story enthusiast. With her sharp mind and love of all things mysterious, she dives into the past to reveal hidden histories, eerie legends, and the occasional spine-tingling secret. Raven’s stories make our social content a mix of history, mischief, and just enough fright to keep everyone coming back for more.
